I love it when musicians know what they’re doing. I love watching performances so good they give me chills. Here is DJ Jazzy Jeff being DJ Jazzy Jeff in New Orleans in 2009. The moment around the 1:55 minute marker gives me the chills. I’ll share some more of these later. :)

It’s official!! I’ve been unemployed for over a week! Being so unemployed, I went crazy with this week’s mini-mix. This mix is the set I would perform if someone came up to me and said “zomg, we need you to fill in 80 minutes at a party.” I think it’s a pretty solid mix. It starts off much like last week’s, but it’s 4 times as long. ENJOY. I had HELLA fun putting this together.

I’m not particularly happy with this mix, but you don’t even know how much fun I had making it. KNOW WHAT??? You can gauge how happy I was by the amount of ice cream I eat in this video. d:D

MINI MIX WEDNESDAY, APRIL FOOLS 2010 STATUS!

Hi Guys! So I’m hoping to make this Mini Mix Wednesday thing a regular thing. Minus Whale! (“Might as well”). :) I had a really crap-tastic Tuesday, so I came home and took it out on Traktor. This mix is all over the fucking place and it gets really fucking mean in the middle. I don’t think any of the songs I used are particularly new, but they’re all great. I love “Pigeon Flu” by Mustard Pimp because I LOVE THE BEACH BOYS and they managed to stick an absolutely gorgeous Beach Boys sample into one of the craziest and hardest to listen to electro house songs ever. The last song I play, Pon De Foley (Ludachrist Remix), is fucking brilliant. That shit had me LOLing in RL. If you’re not familiar with Major Lazer’s Pon De Floor, it might not be as funny. Enjoy. <3 BRAINER.
